Bertassoni Lab at OHSU |
|
The Bertassoni Lab is part of the Division of Biomaterials and Biomechanics in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Our lab has an extensive list of resources for materials and biological characterization, as well as many biofabrication tools. Our biofabrication devices include two 3D bioprinters and multiple single cell dispensing units. Our capabilities include hydrogel microfabrication, microfluidic fabrication, and polymer synthesis. The lab also has a fully equipped cell/tissue culture room with a fully automated fluorescent microscope. In addition, Dr Bertassoni is part of OHSU's Center for Regenerative Medicine, a world-class tissue engineering facility, and the Knight Cancer Institute’s Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR), providing access to the Light Microscopy Core and the Multiscale Microscopy Core. Dr. Bertassoni also holds an honorary appointment at University of Sydney where he supervises students in the bioengineering laboratory.
